Dr. Suzy McGuffin Smith

Dr. Suzy McGuffin Smith was raised in Ponte Vedra Beach, where she attended Allen D. Nease High School. She attended Florida State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. While at FSU, Suzy hurt her back while on a routine run. She ended up at a chiropractor’s office, where she was diagnosed with a bulged disc and treated. She was amazed by how chiropractic got to the root cause of her pain with an adjustment versus traditional medication. 

She graduated from Life University College of Chiropractic and received her Doctorate in Chiropractic. After graduation, she practiced in Woodstock, Georgia, in a family practice. She is practicing in Jacksonville Beach, FL, to be close to her family and friends.

Dr. Sean Smith

Dr. Sean Smith grew up in Cape Coral, Florida. His father has been a practicing chiropractor since 1972, and his mother was an acupuncturist, both practicing together for decades. 

Dr. Sean earned his Bachelor’s of Arts from The University of Florida and continued his education at Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA, where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. 

Dr. Sean and Dr. Suzy have been married for ten years and have two daughters, Keira and Maeve. Their mission is to give the Jacksonville Beach community an affordable, natural approach to health care by educating families and friends about the benefits of chiropractic care.
